Join us on our spectacular Isle of Skye Day Tour from Inverness, in a comfortable 8-seater vehicle. On one of our most popular day tours, experience the distinctive landscapes and breath-taking scenery of rugged hills, beautiful glens, mountain ranges and numerous glistening waterfalls that the West Highlands and Islands of Scotland has to offer.

Travel along the road to the Isles, and take in some of Scotland’s most beautiful and famous places; the mysterious Loch Ness (and views of Urquhart Castle), the emotive and atmospheric Glen Shiel where a Jacobite battle was fought against the British Government in 1719, the legendary and dramatic peaks of the Five Sisters of Kintail, and the world famous and extremely photogenic Eilean Donan Castle. Look out for wildlife along the way and perhaps spot some deer, wild goats, an osprey or an eagle! Why not stop and “say hello” to Morag, Mhairi and the rest of the Highland Cows in the gang?

Over the sea...to the Isle of Skye

Cross over the beautifully designed Skye Bridge, which opened in 1995, to take in some of the most breath-taking scenery and landscapes that has gained the Isle of Skye it’s notoriety all over the world. Enjoy travelling through the Cuillin Mountain Range and take in the dramatic and ever changing backdrop so heavily influenced by the unpredictability of the weather (so warm and waterproof clothing/foorwear is a good idea just in case!). Visit the picturesque harbour town of Portree, and perhaps enjoy some wonderfully fresh seafood for lunch or stroll along the 19th century pier designed by one of Scotland’s most renowned Civil Engineers, Thomas Telford. After lunch, we continue on to gaze upon where volcanic activity has left mesmerising natural landmarks such as the impressive Old Man of Storr, the phenomenal views at the Quiraing and, to complete the “bucket list”, the distinctive pillars and beautiful waterfall at Kilt Rock, with views across to the Torridon hills on the mainland.

The Isle of Skye provides an air of romance and mystery that makes it truly unforgettable, so let us help you to shape your memories. This is our most popular tour by far, so book early to avoid disappointment!
